CHICAGO — A three-story building caught fire in Lincoln Park early Wednesday.

The fire started about 1:45 a.m. in the 300 block of Webster Avenue, said Officer Jose Estrada, a police spokesman.

No injuries were reported.

As firefighters worked Wednesday morning, about 20 of the building's residents waited outside in warming buses, Estrada said.

By 2:15 a.m., the fire was "under control and knocked down," according to a fire department spokesman.

The fire did not appear to be suspicious, and fire officials are investigating.
