CHICAGO — Scaffolding fell from the side of a Lincoln Park apartment building Friday night damaging four cars, including one that was driving by Friday night, police said.
The incident occurred about 8:20 p.m. in the 2700 block of North Lakewood Avenue when the scaffolding on the west side of a building fell to the ground, said Officer Janel Sedevic, a police spokeswoman.
The collapse damaged three parked cars and a passing car. The driver of that car had minor lacerations to his hand.
