CHICAGO — A Lincoln Park mansion with a movie theater, two sports courts and 11,000 square feet of space was sold for $9.035 million last week, according to real estate company Prudential Rubloff.
The home at 1866-70 N. Howe St. was listed for $10 million in January by Janet Owen of Prudential Rubloff, who said she sold the home for $8.5 million in 2010. The property was built in 2004.
According to Owen, it's the highest priced single-family home in Lincoln Park ever recorded in the Multiple Listing Service, a source for real estate brokers.
The residence has six bedrooms and five bathrooms plus three half bathrooms. An elevator and staircase provide access to all three floors.
There's also 50-foot sports court above the four-car attached garage, plus an indoor movie theater. Also on hand to entertain homeowners and guests is a billiards room and an indoor sports court, according to the listing.
Taxes on the property are estimated at $145,769, according to Prudential Rubloff.
