WRIGLEYVILLE — A long-vacant storefront by the Addison Red Line "L" stop will soon be filled by a Dunkin' Donuts.

The storefront at 947 W. Addison St., which for months displayed a sign of a future tavern, now displays a banner saying "Wrigleyville Runs on Dunkin'."

It is expected to open in the late winter or early spring, said Carrie Reckert, a spokeswoman for Dunkin' Donuts Midwest.

So will Cubs fans be able to snag a glazed treat by Opening Day?

Reckert's still new to Wrigleyville lingo: She wasn't quite sure what a reporter meant by "Opening Day."

"Oh.....I guess I'm not that much of a Cubs fan...," she wrote in an email. "At this point since construction hasn't even begun, we don't have a projected opening date."

The Cubs' 2014 home opener is tentatively set for Friday, April 4
