CHICAGO — Police are investigating the shooting of a teen in Ashburn Friday.
The 16-year-old boy was shot in the leg while walking in the 7900 block of South St. Louis Avenue around 4:30, said Officer Veejay Zala, a police spokesman.
Zala said the teen was approached by someone who produced a gun and fired.
The teen was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in stable condition, Zala said.
