CHICAGO — Thursday night means art, trivia and a hip-hop show in Lincoln Park and Old Town.

Art

Pop Up Gallery at Lincoln Park Cultural Center, 2045 N. Lincoln Park West, 5:30-8 p.m.

A free temporary gallery show includes local artists with works like ceramics, wood, glass, metalwork, painting and collage, according to the Chicago Park District. The park district plans to have refreshments and live entertainment at the gallery.

Trivia

Team Trivia at The Hidden Shamrock, 2723 N. Halsted St., 8-11 p.m.

For the bar's weekly trivia night, players can win prizes like tickets to sports games, music events, or even money off the tab. Come with an already-formed team or just make one when you get there. No registration is necessary, and it's free to play.

Trivia Night at Beer Bistro North, 1415 W. Fullerton Ave., 8 p.m.

Beer Bistro's Lincoln Park location hosts a trivia night along with $5 martini specials. Also on tap are 12 seasonal brews for the bar's "12 Beers of Xmas."

Music

Mick Jenkins with DK, Retrospect, Chuck L.I., DJ Step at Tonic Room, 2447 N. Halsted St., 9 p.m.

Chicago hip-hop artist Mick Jenkins performs along with DK, Retrospect, Chuck L.I., DJ Step. Cover is $5, and the show is restricted to those 21 and older.
