COOK COUNTY CRIMINAL COURTHOUSE — A Chicago woman with a TGI Friday's margarita stashed in her car hit a pedestrian crossing the street in the Gresham neighborhood, prosecutors said.

The man she allegedly hit turned out to be a Chicago cop in street clothes, prosecutors said, and the woman was arrested for drinking and driving.

Yamica Horton, 26, was charged with DUI, driving without insurance, failure to reduce speed and failure to yield to a pedestrian Sunday night after prosecutors said one cop on foot patrol saw her hit another cop as he crossed Ashland Avenue near the 79th Street intersection.

The officer, who was not identified, suffered minor injuries but did not seek medical attention, according to a police report.

When stopped by police, Horton at first refused to get out of her car and kept her doors locked so the cops couldn't get in, according to the police report. When she did exit the car, and police questioned her, Horton "responded slowly ... and would stop talking completely."

Inside her car, in the center console, cops found a half-full margarita from TGI Friday's, according to the police report. Horton's blood alcohol content later tested at .079 BAC.

A Cook County judge ordered Horton held on $40,000 bond when she appeared briefly for a court hearing Monday.
