CHICAGO — A Niles man was killed and two others injured Friday morning after a single-vehicle crash on Lake Shore Drive, police said.
Around 5:20 a.m. the car was driving southbound on Lake Shore Drive near West Lawrence Avenue and hit a median causing it to flip into the northbound lanes, said Officer Janel Sedevic, a police spokesman.
One person was fatally injured and two others were taken to Illinois Masonic Medical Center, said Sedevic.
The victim was identified as Milad Mosadeghi, 24, of Niles. He was pronounced dead on the scene at 5:33 a.m., the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office said.
Northbound traffic was closed at Wilson Avenue, and reopened around 8:45 a.m.
