LINCOLN PARK — Lincoln Avenue's award-winning burger joint, Edzo's, has perfected the day-after-Thanksgiving meal and put it on a bun.

Eddie Lakin and his crew at the Lincoln Park restaurant unveiled their translation of the Thanksgiving holiday this month, topped with all the fixings.

The Gobble Burger starts with a turkey patty pressed flat on the griddle.

Next comes a slab of stuffing topped first with homemade cranberry relish made with fresh cranberries, orange juice and toasted walnuts.

Under that comes sweet mashed yams.

The burger is then topped with French's french fried onions, similar to those found in grandma's green bean casserole.

"It's kind of like the next day, you put everything on the sandwich," said Tim Quirk, general manager at Edzo's.

The Gobble Burger will be available all month long for $8.50.

Quirk said the restaurant has sold about 20 so far.

Edzo's opened the Lincoln Park location in December 2012.
