Three Wounded in Shootings on South, West Sides

CHICAGO— Three men were wounded in shootings Tuesday night on the South and West sides.

In the most recent shooting, a 57-year-old man was shot about 11:20 p.m. in the 7500 block of South Indiana Avenue in Grand Crossing. The man was hit in the finger and was taken to University of Illinois Medical Center, said Officer Janel Sedevic, a police spokeswoman.

About 9:35 p.m., a 58-year-old man was shot while standing with a group in the 1700 block of West Lake Street in Near West Side. The man was taken to Stroger Hospital in stable condition, Sedevic said.

At 7:13 p.m., a 21-year-old man was shot in the 10200 block of South Eberhart Avenue in Roseland. The man was taken in good condition to an unknown hospital, Sedevic said.

No one was in custody for any of the shootings, police said.
