CHICAGO — On what's likely to be a chilly Tuesday there's plenty to do indoors in Lincoln Park and Old Town, including a concert and half-off tickets to the history museum.

Shows

Mount Kimbie with Jonwayne and D33J, Lincoln Hall at 2424 N. Lincoln Ave., 8 p.m.

Tickets to see the English electronic duo Mount Kimbie go for $17 online and $20 at the door. The show is for concertgoers 18 and older.

Beth Stelling Headlines Queer Comedy, Zanies at 1548 N. Wells St., 8:30 p.m.

This Tuesday's Queer Comedy is headlined by Beth Stelling, who started her career in Chicago before appearing on "Conan" and making several lists of comedians to watch. The series, which highlights queer and straight comedians, is presented by OutLoud Chicago. Tickets go for $15, plus a two-drink or food minimum.

Stelling will also be performing with Chicago comedian Drew Michael at Zanies Wednesday through Sunday night.

On the cheap

Half-off tickets for Chicago History Museum, 1601 N. Clark St.

Groupon is offering half-off tickets to the Chicago History Museum, which currently features exhibits such as "Inspiring Beauty: 50 Years of Ebony Fashion Fair," "American Heroes" and "Vivian Maier's Chicago," among others. The discount includes single tickets for $7 (worth $14), two tickets for $14 and four tickets for $28.

The rest

"Zero Charisma" at Facets Cinematheque, 1517 W. Fullerton Ave., 7 and 9 p.m.

Playing from Oct. 18 until Oct. 24 for $9 is "Zero Charisma," an indie film about a gamer who leads his friends as Grand Master of a weekly board game every Tuesday night. Things are thrown out of whack for him when a different kind of nerd comes to town and threatens the status quo. The movie won an audience award at this year's SXSW Film Festival.

Movie night indoors

If the idea of venturing out with a winter coat in October sounds a bit awful, stay inside and have a themed movie night. Hunker down with some blankets, hot chocolate (or your favorite pumpkin-spiced beverage) and watch scary classics like "Carrie," "Pet Sematary" or "Scream," all of which are currently streaming on Netflix.
