COOK COUNTY CRIMINAL COURTHOUSE — A man involved in a traffic fight claimed to be a Chicago Police officer and threatened another driver with tickets — and death, according to a police report.

Nathaniel Henry was driving in the 2400 block of North Elston Street in Logan Square when he got into a fight with another driver, police said.

The 43-year-old South Shore man allegedly tried to get the upper hand in the argument by telling the other driver that he was a cop. He was subsequently charged with impersonating a police officer and simple assault.

"I am the police and I will make some s--- up and write you tickets," Henry said, according to a police report.

Henry allegedly also told the other driver "I'll end your life before the summer ends."

Henry, of the 2000 block of East 72nd Street, was ordered held on $50,000 bond Friday by a Cook County judge.
