CHICAGO — Stephanie Izard, the chef behind two popular West Loop restaurants, got married Sunday at the Bridgeport Art Center.
The girl and the craft beer consultant — Chicago-based Gary Valentine — celebrated their union with a reception featuring food conceived by other area chefs, according to a report in People magazine and the couple's social media accounts.
"Thank you to all of our talented friends that helped make last night perfect!" the chef tweeted Monday.
The wedding reception featured food made by several local chefs, including The Bristol's Chris Pandel and GT Fish & Oyster's Giuseppe Tentori, according to the magazine.
"I was blown away by the food at our wedding! We had such amazing friends put together an incredible menu that everyone loved," Izard, 36, told the magazine.
Izard won Bravo's Top Chef Season 4 and has since gone on to open two popular restaurants — The Girl and the Goat and The Little Goat — in the West Loop.
