CHICAGO — Police arrested three men after uncovering stolen guns and more than $1.2 million worth of drugs in a Clearing home Wednesday, officials said.
Police had a search warrant for the home of Raphael Torres, 59, located in 6500 block of West 63rd Place. Police found 166 pounds of pot, estimated to be worth about $1.1 million, as well as quantities of crystal meth, ecstasy and cocaine, officials said.
Also found were four guns, two of which had been reported stolen, and $44,000 in cash, authorities said.
Torres was charged with possession of a controlled substance. He also had a warrant for an unrelated investigation, police said.
Naftali Centeno, 31, also of the 6500 block of West 63rd Place, was charged with three counts of possession of a controlled substance, three counts of unlawful use of a weapon by a felon and possession of more than 5,000 grams of cannabis. He also has a warrant for an unrelated investigation.
Sergey Mordvin, 33, of the 6000 block of North Sheridan Road in Edgewater, was charged with possession of cannabis.
Centeno and Torres are both convicted felons, police said.
Centeno and Mordvin were scheduled to appear in bond court Thursday. Torres was scheduled for bond court Friday, authorities said.
