CHICAGO — A 30-year-old man died after being critically wounded in a shooting last week.
The man has been identified as Alphonso Love, of the 3100 block of West Polk Street in East Garfield Park, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.
Love was getting out of his car in the 1300 block of South Kedvale Avenue around 1:25 a.m. Sept. 21 when someone fired multiple shots.
He was hit in the stomach, arms and legs and was taken to Mount Sinai, said Officer Jose Estrada, a police spokesman.
