CHICAGO — An 11-year-boy missing since Thursday from North Lawndale has been located, officials said Saturday.
Edward C. Triplett was last seen in the 1800 block of South Drake Avenue wearing a white polo shirt, black pants and white Nike gym shoes, according to a missing person alert.
Edward had gotten in trouble in school and was afraid of getting punished, the alert said.
The boy is described as black, 4-feet tall, weighing 80 pounds and with black hair, brown eyes and spots on his skin.
