CHICAGO — A 19-year-old man was shot in his hip in South Shore Thursday, officials said.
He was shot about 3:37 p.m. in the 1900 block of East 72nd Place, said Officer Daniel O'Brien, a police spokesman.
The victim was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where he was in stable condition, police said.
No one was in custody as of Thursday afternoon, O'Brien said.
