Businesses Broken Into Overnight in Gage Park, Cops Say

CHICAGO — Police are warning of a spike in overnight break-ins of Gage Park businesses during the month of September.

Businesses were forcibly entered and burglarized Sept. 15 in the 2700 block of West 51st Street and the 5100 block of South California Avenue, Sept. 12 in the 5100 block of South California Avenue and Sept. 7 in the 5100 block of South Kedzie Avenue, according to a community alert.

Police ask anyone with information to call 312-747-8384.
