HUMBOLDT PARK — It's been a long festival season in Chicago, and Friday afternoon the last big music fest of the season kicks off in Humboldt Park.
For some, the summer's last gasp was a much-anticipated event, with bands like the Replacements, Sublime and Blink-182 eager to play to thousands in Humboldt Park.
Jacob Pollifron, 22, traveled to Chicago from Iowa.
"These are bands I've been wanting to see since I was 16. You can't get past this lineup," he said.
Pollifrone had a small camera strapped to his chest, ready to document the weekend.
"I'm going to record the full experience - me crowdsurfing, just the things my friends and I get into," he said. "Why remember it when you can record everything?"
