BRIGHTON PARK — A four-alarm fire that ripped through a warehouse on the Southwest Side Wednesday night was burning again Thursday morning, officials said.
The fire, which struck a warehouse in the 3700 block of South California Avenue in Brighton Park, was first reported at 11:13 p.m. Wednesday, according to the Fire Department.
Fire officials upgraded the fire to a four-alarm blaze about midnight and said the fire threatened an adjacent building.
No injuries were reported, and the fire was extinguished at 1:23 a.m. But firefighters returned to the scene about 4 a.m. after the fire rekindled, and they were still on the scene as of early Thursday morning, officials said.
