LAKEVIEW — Brides looking to add a Lakeview flair to their weddings can grab free goodies on Lincoln Avenue Wednesday.

Bottle & Bottega, Heritage Bicycles General Store and A Perfect Event will be open from 6 to 8 p.m.  Wednesday with free cocktails, champagne, food, coffee, makeovers, art demos and more in hopes of highlighting the ways the shops can brighten a wedding with the latest trends.

Stephanie King-Meyers, founder of Bottle & Bottega, said her BYOB art class business has a special affinity for all things wedding. The location at 2900 N. Lincoln Ave. has witnessed two proposals — one where the couple had their first date in an art class.

"It’s been very special," she said. "We take that very seriously."

For "Lincoln Bridal Hop," Bottle & Bottega will be offering flutes of prosecco with spiced rum, rosemary and orange slices and a do-it-yourself station with free 6-by-6 canvases that brides can turn into art for the wedding.

Makeup artists, skin and spa experts will be giving makeovers at Bottle & Bottega, and a DJ and a caterer will also be on hand.

Heritage, 2959 N. Lincoln Ave., will have a coffee bar, cocktails and photo booth. A Perfect Event, 3050 N. Lincoln Ave., will be offering food from Pure Kitchen, along with floral and planning tips.

Interested brides can register for the free event online.
