CHICAGO — A man was killed early Sunday in a possible drug-related shooting in West Pullman, police said.

The 56-year-old man was found fatally shot in his home in the 12200 block of South Aberdeen Street about 7:41 a.m., said Officer John Mirabelli, a police spokesman. The man had been shot in the head.

The man was identified by the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office as Carl Pate.

Pate was also shot on August 22, but survived, Mirabelli said. The shooting happened at the same address.

No one was in custody for the slaying as of 11 a.m. Sunday.
