CHICAGO — Two men were shot in Chicago Wednesday afternoon, including one who was shot by a a suspect riding a bicycle, officials said.
In McKinley Park, an 18-year-old man was struck in the upper left chest at 5:25 p.m. in the 3700 block of South Honore Street, police said.
The victim was standing in the street when two men on bicycles rode by, and one of the cyclists pulled out a handgun and opened fire, officials said.
The man was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was in stable condition. No one was in custody for the shooting Wednesday night, police said.
Earlier, a man of an unknown age was shot in Bronzeville.
The man was hit in the leg about 2:40 p.m. in the 3900 block of South Cottage Grove Avenue, police said.
His condition was unknown.
