COOK COUNTY CRIMINAL COURTHOUSE — A South Side woman is accused of biting off most of her second cousin's nose after a family party earlier this month.

Damika Robinson, 39, was at her cousin's house in the 7000 block of South Rockwell Street in the Chicago Lawn neighborhood on Aug. 4.

At some point, Robinson bit the hostess' face several times, "including a bite that removed her nose," according to court records.

The cousin, 38, was disfigured in the attack, according to court records. She was treated at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn.

Robinson wasn't arrested until Wednesday by a fugitive task force.

She was ordered held on $225,000 bail by Cook County Judge Laura Sullivan on a charge of aggravated battery causing great bodily harm.
