CHICAGO — Burglars smashed windows and stole items from the display of two Magnificent Mile businesses in the past several days, police said.
The incidents occurred in the 600 block of North Michigan Avenue at 5:25 a.m. July 22 and in the 0 to 100 block of East Oak Street and 7:25 a.m. Sunday.
In both cases, men wearing black-hooded sweatshirts and dark pants smashed the windows, gathered items from the display and ran away through the broken glass.
