SOUTH LOOP — You don't need a wristband or ticket to leave Lollapalooza weekend with official merch, music-lovers' gear and a head-to-toe summer festival look.

For the second year, LollaShop will open for a week at 332 S. Michigan Ave. to shill Lollapalooza 2013 T-shirts and accessories, and showcase a host of local and traveling vendors and bands.

"It's basically your one-stop shop for everything you need to rock the weekend, whether that's a trendy, braided hairstyle or a shirt to replace the one you spilled beer on," said Joel Morales, a spokesman for the pop-up shop, which opens at 11 a.m. Friday.

In addition to mini-storefronts with Goorin Bros. hats, Blowtique hair styling, Edith Hart clothing and Third Man Records gear, the shop will host a series of mini-concerts on its Fender stage by local bands and Lollapalooza artists.

Ghosthouse, Glass Lux and Boots With Spurs play Saturday, Comasoft headlines Tuesday, Aly Jados plays Thursday, and Family of the Year will perform Aug. 3. Heritage will auction off a bike signed by Lolla artists, and that winner will be announced on Aug. 5.

The festival and most of its after shows are sold out, so for the ticketless, this could be your only chance for a glance at some of the featured musicians.

LollaShop is open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday through Aug. 2, and from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. during the festival before closing for the year on Aug. 5. The artist lineup hasn't yet been released.
