CHICAGO — An Indiana man was charged with murder after police say he killed a man by running him over with a vehicle during a Gage Park gang fight Sunday morning.

Wenceslao Arriaga, 25, of the 4000 block of Willow Street in Hobart, Ind., will be in bond court Tuesday and is accused of killing 20-year-old Jose Ibarra.

Ibarra was one of two people run over by a car in the incident, which occurred in the 5700 block of South Central Park Avenue at 3:20 a.m. Sunday, police said.

Ibarra, of the 3500 block of West 58th Street, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.

The other man, 23, was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital.

Arriaga was stabbed in the fight and taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center, police said.

Arriaga was charged with first-degree murder and aggravated battery.
