CHICAGO — A man died after a gang fight in Gage Park that led to two men being run over by a car and another stabbed, police said.

The incident occurred in the 5700 block of South Central Park Avenue at 3:20 a.m., said Officer Jose Estrada, a police spokesman.

During a fight involving multiple people, a 25-year-old man was stabbed, police said. He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in "stable" condition, according to cops.

A car involved in the fight was attempting to flee and ran over a 20-year-old man and a 23-year-old man, police said.

The 20-year-old man was dead on the scene, according to police. He was identified as Jose Ibarra, of the 3500 block of West 58th Street, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.

Police said the other man was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in "stable" condition with injuries to his arms and legs.

At least two people are being questioned by police, Estrada said.

It was one of at least two separate stabbing incidents in the city early Sunday. In the other, police said a 54-year-old man was seriously hurt after being stabbed in Wicker Park.
