Possible 4-Year-Old Drowning Victim 'Pulled from Water' at Montrose Harbor

CHICAGO — A child, between three to four years old, was "pulled from the water by civilians" at Montrose Harbor Friday night, authorities said.

The incident occurred at 7:06 p.m., according to Chicago Fire Department tweet. She was saved from the water by lifeguards, according to police.

The victim was transported to Weiss Memorial Hospital in critical condition.

Police said the victim was a 3-year-old while the fire department said she was four.

Additional information was not immediately available.
