CHICAGO — An Austin man was charged with the August 2012 murder of a Maywood man, officials said.
Willie Woods, 22, of the 100 block of North La Crosse Avenue, was charged with first-degree murder in the slaying of Dominique Green, 23.
Green, who lived in Maywood, was gunned down about 7:55 p.m. Aug. 1, 2012 in the 700 block of South Independence Boulevard in West Garfield Park, police said.
Family remembered Green after his death as a proud father and fan of action movies and designer jeans.
