CHICAGO — Cops said they're looking for a burglar who broke into two West Town homes last week.

The thief broke into an apartment in the 1000 block of North Marshfield Avenue on June 29 during the afternoon, and then hit an apartment in the 1000 block of North Paulina Street on July 1 in the evening, police said in a community alert.

In each incident, he pried open the doors and took items, according to the alert.

Police described the burglar as 20 to 40 years old, 6 feet to 6-foot-2 and weighing 230 pounds.

Cops asked anyone with information to call detectives at 312-747-8384.
