BRIDGEPORT — City vehicle stickers will be sold Thursday at the 11th Ward office.

The sale, which includes 2013-2014 annual vehicle stickers, residential parking permits and daily guest passes, will run from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at the office, 3659 S. Halsted St.

According to the city clerk’s website, any Chicago resident "with a vehicle that is used for more than 30 days in the City of Chicago must purchase and display a city vehicle sticker.”

Stickers cost $85 for a small passenger vehicle and $135 for a large passenger vehicle. Adding a residential parking permit will cost an extra $25. Senior citizens ages 65 and older get a break — stickers are $30 for both small and large vehicles.

Those looking to buy a vehicle sticker must bring in a renewal form. Without it, a state vehicle registration and title or insurance card containing a Vehicle Identification Number is needed.

Checks and money orders will be the only accepted forms of payment.

Motorists also can visit the city’s online sticker sales website to buy stickers.

The stickers are also available at any city clerk office location, Finance Department offices, currency exchanges and Dominick's stores. A complete list can be found at the city clerk's website.

This will be the last year that all motorists are required to display their new stickers by July 1, as the city will transition to year-round sales.
