COOK COUNTY CRIMINAL COURTHOUSE — A West Rogers Park robber is in custody on charges he targeted five taxi drivers over the course of about a month, prosecutors said.

Tony LeFlore, 20, of the 2000 block of West Arthur Street, is charged with either robbery or armed robbery in five incidents that took place between May 4 and June 10, when he was arrested at a neighborhood convenience store, prosecutors said.

LeFlore, who is a known gang member, threatened one cabbie with a gun, another with a knife and punched one of the drivers in the face, according to prosecutors and court records.

Neither police nor prosecutors could immediately specify where the robberies occurred.

A Cook County judge ordered LeFlore held on $350,000 bond Tuesday.
