CHICAGO — A man tried to lure a 12-year-old into his sedan in Clearing Friday, according to a police alert.
The incident occurred in the 6300 block of South New England Avenue about 8:45 p.m., according to the alert.
The suspect is described as a white man, who has short black hair, light complexion and is clean cut with a deep voice. He is described as being 38 to 43 years old.
The man's car is a gray, newer-model four-door sedan and has light-tinted windows, according to the alert.
