CHICAGO — A man was found fatally shot in his back in Morgan Park Tuesday, officials said.
Officers responded to a call of a person shot about 3:07 p.m. in the 11600 block of South Vincennes Avenue, police said.
They found the 22-year-old man unresponsive on the scene with several gunshot wounds, according to police and the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.
He was pronounced dead on the scene at 3:30 p.m. He was identified as Jauan Lewis, of the 1600 block of South Vincennes Avenue.
