Second Victim in Sunday Car Crash Dies

 Two people died and three were injured after a two-vehicle crash in the 12200 block of South Sangamon Street on Sunday.

CHICAGO — A second person has died after two cars crashed into a building on the Far South Side Sunday morning.

The collision occurred about 2:20 a.m. in the 10200 block of South Sangamon Street in Washington Heights, police said.

Jasmine McMorris, 22, died in the wreck and was pronounced dead at the scene, the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office said.

On Monday night, Mitchell Conner, also 22, of the 10300 block of South Green Street, died from injuries suffered in the wreck, the medical examiner's office said.

Three others were taken to local hospitals after the crash, the Chicago Fire Department said Sunday.
