One Dead, Four Injured in Early Morning Washington Heights Crash

CHICAGO — One person died and four others were injured in a two-car crash in Washington Heights early Sunday, authorities said.

The collision into a building occurred about 2:20 a.m. in the 10200 block of South Sangamon Street, said Officer Hector Alfaro, a police spokesman.

One person, later identified as 22-year-old Jasmine McNorris, was found dead at the scene.

Four others were taken to Stroger Hospital and Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn for their injuries, the fire department said.
