CHICAGO — Three men were injured in shootings on the South Side Tuesday, officials said.
A 19-year-old man was shot in the back, and a 20-year-old man was shot in the back and head, police said.
The men were taken in serious-to-critical condition to Northwestern Memorial Hospital about 4:05 p.m., fire officials said.
One man was taken to the hospital from East 80th Street and South Manistee Avenue, and another was taken from East 79th Street and South Marquette Avenue, fire officials said.
Police said the condition of the men had stabilized.
It was unknown whether they were shot in the same incident.
About an hour later, at 5 p.m., a 19-year-old man was shot in the arm at East 90th Street and South Escanaba Avenue, police said.
