CHICAGO — A woman pulled over by police punched one of the officers in the face and dragged her with her vehicle in Auburn Gresham Monday night, cops said.
Officers pulled over the vehicle in the 8300 block of South Kerfoot Avenue about 9:15 p.m. when a woman inside punched one of the officers in the face, grabbed her and drove off, dragging the cop with her, said Officer Jose Estrada, a police spokesman.
The officer was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where she was treated and released, Estrada said.
The attacker is in custody and charges are pending, Estrada said.
