CHICAGO — An 18-year-old man was shot in his leg on the Southwest Side Thursday morning, authorities said.
He was shot about 10:55 a.m. in the 7000 block of South Talman Avenue in Chicago Lawn, said Officer John Mirabelli, a police spokesman.
He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in serious but "stable" condition, according to police and the Chicago Fire Department.
