BELMONT CRAGIN — Police are investigating the death of a Belmont Cragin man after his body was found late Monday near his home.
The 41-year-old man died after suffering severe head trauma, according to officials at the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.
Authorities there identified the man as Kendrick Wright, of the 5000 block of West Belden Avenue, and said his death might be related to a domestic dispute.
Early Tuesday morning, police did not comment on the circumstances of his death other than to say it was under investigation.
Wright's body was found outside his home in what appeared to be a pool of blood about 10:10 p.m. Monday, according to Officer Hector Alfaro, a police spokesman.
Wright was pronounced dead on the scene, authorities said.
