HUMBOLDT PARK — A man was stabbed in the leg Friday afternoon in West Humboldt Park, neighbors said.
Witnesses said a man was stabbed just before 12:30 p.m. Friday after he got into a disagreement with another man outside the "Las Americas" corner store at the intersection of West Division Street and North Pulaski Road.
Neighbors said the victim walked across the intersection to a gas station after he was stabbed while the man responsible fled west on Division Street.
As of late afternoon, police could not provide any information on the stabbing, according to Officer Joshua Purkiss, a police spokesman.
