CHICAGO — A man who was shot while driving crashed into another car Tuesday, police said.
The man, believed to be in his 30s, was shot in the chest about 6:17 p.m. in the 6300 block of North Campbell Avenue, said Officer Daniel O'Brien, a police spokesman.
The victim lost control of his car and crashed into another. He was taken to St. Francis Hospital with critical wounds, where his condition stabilized, O'Brien said.
No further information was immediately available.
