CHICAGO — Firefighters battled a blaze at a McKinley Park mattress warehouse Tuesday night, officials said.
"Many" mattresses had to be pulled out and hosed down about 6:45 p.m. from the building at 3815 S. Ashland Ave., fire officials said.
One lane of traffic was closed each way in the 1500 block of East 39th Street, officials said.
No injuries were reported, according to fire officials.
A massive, 5-alarm fire broke out in a warehouse two blocks away in January. The frozen water left behind an ice palace that became a destination for photographers.
