CHICAGO — An Albany Park man is dead after a single-car crash in West Humboldt Park Saturday night, authorites said.
The 35-year-old man, identified by the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office as Alfrado Hernandez, was driving westbound in a Dodge Stratus when he hit a sidewalk and a wrought-iron fence near the intersection of Division Street and Karlov Avenue, police said.
Hernandez was taken from the scene at 10:35 p.m. and pronounced dead at Mount Sinai Hospital at 11:18 p.m., according to authorities.
