Cuban-Inspired Dance Performance 'Havana Blue' Debuts Saturday

CHICAGO — A Cuban and Afro-Caribbean-inspired dance performance will make its world premiere at the Auditorium Theatre of Roosevelt Univeristy Saturday.

Tickets for "Havana Blue," directed by Frank Chaves and Orbert Davis, start at $32 and can be purchased at auditoriumtheatre.org.

"It is astounding to see what both Frank and Orbert have put together during this two-year process and I am so thrilled the Auditorium has the privilege of premiering this significant peice of work," said Brett Batterson, executive director for the the Auditorium Theatre.

The performance is a collaboration between River North Dance Chicago and the Chicago Jazz Philharmonic Chamber Ensemble.
