Lollapalooza 2013 Lineup Officially Includes NIN, The Cure & More

By Emily Morris | April 1, 2013 12:03pm

CHICAGO —  The official lineup for Lollapalooza 2013 was announced Monday and included already leaked headliners such as The Cure, Mumford and Sons, The Killers, Nine Inch Nails, Phoenix and dozens more.

Though the announcement coincided with April Fools day, festival organizers insisted this one wasn't a joke.

The official lineup mirrored a photo of what appeared to be the 2013 Lollapalooza lineup, which leaked on social media last week. After the photo spread, festival organizers pushed up the announcement of the lineup.

The blurry photo, which appeared on Reddit and Facebook Wednesday night, also included notable acts such as the The Postal Service, Vampire Weekend, New Order, Queens of the Stone Age, The Lumineers, The National, Kendrick Lamar and Ellie Goulding. All those bands were confirmed officially Monday.

Single-day passes go on sale Wednesday for $95 apiece. The festival will take place in Chicago's Grant Park Aug. 2-4.

Earlier this month, Early Bird Passes for Lollapalooza sold out in minutes, and full-price, general admission three-day passes sold out soon after.
