CHICAGO — Two people were taken to area hospitals after an accident on the Dan Ryan Expressway, fire officials said.
A man was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, and a woman was taken to Stroger Hospital with critical injuries, fire officlas said.
The accident, on the southbound expressway, happened near the 48th Street exit, and required crews to extricate the injured passengers.
