BOYSTOWN — Former Danity Kane singer Aubrey O'Day will be performing at this summer's Pride Fest, organizers confirmed Wednesday.

Pride Fest is an annual LGBT festival with music, arts, food and other vendors run by the Northalsted Business Alliance. ChicagoPride.com first reported that O'Day would perform.

O'Day is a singer and reality TV personality who also started a charity called Fight Aids Now, according to her Facebook page.

The 29-year-old first rose to the national stage as part of P. Diddy's reality show Making the Band 3 and was selected to be a part of Danity Kane, a girl group well-known for "Showstopper." She was booted from the group in 2008 and signed a solo record deal two years ago. She will be releasing a new EP this year called "Between Two Evils."

Reality TV-wise, O'Day has appeared on "Dancing with the Stars," "The Apprentice," "RuPaul's Drag Race" and been the star of her own Oxygen-network show, "All About Aubrey."

This year's Pride Fest will be from June 22 to 23, a weekend before the Pride Parade.
