ANDERSONVILLE Police are looking for help identifying a woman who was found dead in a driveway Tuesday night as they investigate the circumstances of her death.

The woman was found unresponsive in the 5400 block of North Ashland Avenue Tuesday evening, and taken to Illinois Masonic Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead about 6:40 p.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.

Police described the woman as a 60-year-old white woman, about 5-feet-5, 125 pounds, with blue eyes, brown dyed hair and a medium complexion.

She was wearing a red sweater over a black sweater, black sweatpants, black shoes and a pair of pearl-colored earrings, police said in an alert.

The woman "appeared to be well manicured," and "she has had dental work," the alert said.

A spokesman with the medical examiner's office said that an autopsy was completed Wednesday, but that the results were being held pending a police investigation.

Police declined to comment on the investigation.

Anybody with information about the unidentified woman is asked to call detectives at (312) 744-8261. Callers should refer to the police report number, HW199189.
